How we will achieve our goals:
Providing individualized growth for each child, all staff members will know every child’s name, teachers and providers will fully understand each child’s developmental stage; self-esteem will be emphasized for each child; appropriate academic development will be given (colors, shapes, numbers, letters, music, etc.); good nutrition will be stressed.
Providing a safe and caring environment for each child:
Lots of hugs and encouragement will be given; children will be comforted when upset; positive reinforcement and praise will be the norm; positive behavior will be reinforced; each child will feel secure when Mom and Dad leave.
Providing quality care in partnerships with parents:
Caregivers/teachers will discuss or log child’s experiences each day. Parent/Provider conferences will be done to discuss updates on your child's daily/weekly progress as needed.

Providing qualified, experienced caregivers/teachers and providers:
Claudine’s Little Folks Llc offers full-time, part time, and after-school programs with great educational and entertaining curriculum, suitable to your child’s needs. Our staff and providers will have a minimum of an early childhood/Pre-K Educational Training and in some cases a Degree in Education or a related field and a CDA Credential as well. In addition to practical experience, all staff will be certified in Child/Adult CPR /FIRST AID/AED. We are a Breastfeeding friendly daycare. The Justice Center/DOHMH conducts Background/SEL/FBI check on ALL Staff before assuming roles in this daycare.
●Claudine’s Little Folks 1 works to promote an “Open Door” policy where parents know they can call or come to our daycare and speak to a member of our staff with any concerns or questions they may have. Ensuring that your children are performing at their full potential is our priority.
●Satisfying the children's needs/health/safety is our priority since we were established nearly 2 decades ago.
●Providing nutritious cooked meals and snack at least 4 times per day to ensure a healthy diet.
●Consistent naptime routines of at least 2 hours per day for our toddlers and preschoolers help children feel secure and lower stress. A healthy foundation of rest where we turn the lights low and occasionally put on classical music helps the infants sleep longer. Infant nap varies.
